Hi, I’m Adam Isaak. For the past decade, I’ve been making videos and podcasts about science and technology.
I created and produce a weekly science podcast—first with Mother Jones, and now independently. I produce a podcast about music and neuroscience.
I’ve made a bunch of videos with Adam Savage and others for Tested.com. I produced a series of videos for Simone Giertz and Google, including one where we got to float around in a zero-g plane. Most recently I worked as a technology video producer for CNBC, making short documentaries about things like why the U.S. continues to fail at high-speed rail, a nuanced look at video games and violence, and the history of light bulbs.
I produced an album for comedian Carmen Lynch, Dance Like You Don't Need the Money, which was SiriusXM's 2017 Comedy Album of the Year. I have recorded many live episodes of the comedy podcast Doug Loves Movies. I was an editor for the 2018 Daytime Emmys Awards.
I have also produced many live events—live podcasts and other shows at science and nerd conventions.
